Weekly Recap

I did a terrible job of posting this week. I've been trying to tell myself "quality over quantity" but I wanted to post something this week so I decided to bring back an oldie but (hopefully) a goodie.

My inspiration has definitely been lacking in Oklahoma, especially since all I do is watch TV and go to work. I have no plans this weekend (except church on Sunday)... so let's hope that those two days re-energize me.

I still want to do a Q&A for my birthday next month! So far I have a grand total of.... zero questions. So if there's anything you want to know, drop it in the comments below.

Good morning everyone, and happy Friday! I unexpectedly have today off for fall break, so I'm using it to visit my friend Kelsey in Dallas! I'm excited to get out of Oklahoma and have a fun weekend with a familiar face.

I've had a few thoughts rolling around in my head recently so I just wanted to put them in the universe.

America's Greatest Homecoming Celebration Photo Diary

One of the things that Oklahoma State University is known for across the country (ok, in the Midwest) is their Homecoming. It's the biggest in the country, with over 80,000 alumni returning each year for the weekend's events.

Since the week is put on by the Alumni Association, I had a first-hand look at everything going on! I worked most events and wanted to share some of the pictures here with y'all.

I used to hate yoga. I don't even have a good reason why! I started doing more in the Spring, and after doing a 30-day yoga challenge, I do it multiple times per week! Even a simple flow makes me feel sooo much better after sitting at my desk all day long.

I have been on the struggle bus recently when it comes to my diet. I'm a big breakfast person but generally get hungry way before lunch at 11:30-ish. And if I eat that early, then I'm hungry way before the end of the day! This leads to me snacking on unhealthy foods that leave me wondering why I spend time in the gym if it's not making a difference! 😉
