Weekly Recap

Happy Friday! I had such an exciting week, lots of things started to fall into place for me! I finally feel confident about my job search, and with that comes more confidence about the future. I hope to be able to share some good news soon, and with that will come some job search advice and more about what I went through.

Today starts a long week of traveling for me! I'm headed to Raleigh this weekend, then stopping through Charlotte on Monday, then a flight to Dallas that night, and back to Atlanta Tuesday afternoon. Although I'm sure I'll be tired there at the end, it will hopefully all be worth it!

Pod Save the World: North Korea Update // If you're like me, you've been low-key freaking out about the threat of nuclear war with North Korea. I've been reading so many articles and watching so many videos about the recent updates with North Korea just to try and get a better understanding of what is going on and what the result of an attack would be. The first 10 minutes of this podcast is one of the best and most informative conversations on North Korea that I've found so far. It's the first episode on the list when you click this link! (The rest of the podcast is interesting, but about Russian government so I'm not sure I would listen if you're not incredibly interested in foreign policy like me.)

The Bachelorette Finale // I saw a spoiler about a week out from The Bachelorette finale so all I did leading up to the final episode was pray that it was wrong. Unfortunately, it was not. I was really sad. I'm sure there's a lot we didn't see in the episode/overall season, but I honestly feel like Bryan is super fake. Case in point, his gross line of Brachel merch. If you didn't like the ending, you'll love this thread on Twitter.

The Crown, Season 2 // The Crown is such a good show. I love a good historical drama, and this show is no exception. I've seen the entire thing, and have started to watch season one with my parents, but it's taken us forever. Hopefully we'll be done by December for the second season! Claire Foy is so great as Queen Elizabeth, Matt Smith is amazing at Prince Phillip... Season 2 looks to be just as wonderful as season 1. I love that it focuses more on Prince Phillip!
