Weekly Recap

This week really flew by for me. I want to take a quick second to thank everyone for their kind feedback on Wednesday's post! I'm so glad to hear that I'm not alone in how I was feeling and that even some bloggers that I admire the most have felt this same way too! It definitely made the latter half of the week much smoother.

I was feeling pretty frustrated when I published that post, because how can one apply for upwards of 70 jobs and literally not hear anything back? But it was almost funny - Wednesday morning I literally scheduled 4 interviews for today and next week. Kind of ironic how that all works out, yeah?

Here's what was on my radar this week:

The Bold Type // Guys if you haven't started this show yet, you totally should. It's so good! I was watching the Harry Potter weekend last Saturday and saw so many previews for the show that I decided to try it out, and I'm glad I did. Parts of it are definitely cheesy and unrealistic, but overall I love the message that the show is putting out.

It's Eclipse Month! // I'm so excited for the solar eclipse!! It's coming right over the very tiny corner of Georgia, but it just so happens that we have a mountain house directly in its path! We have our solar glasses and everything. Who knows when I will ever be able to see a total eclipse ever again - I'm pumped.

Men Tell All // The Bachelorette Men Tell All episode was on Monday, and it was honestly just as boring as the rest of this season has been. Don't get me wrong, I like Rachel and this season has had its funny moments, but overall I think it's just been sort of "meh." I enjoyed the bloopers and the way they pulled out the receipts when Lee was in the hot seat, but I don't think he's sincere for a single second. I think he came on this season to do one thing, get under people's skin, and now I just want to forget him and move on. The finale is next week, so we'll see who the winner is (and the new Bachelor hopefully!) then!

  8. As much as I love Rachel, she's too smart and reasonable to be on the Bachelorette - I watch that franchise for the drama and the craziness and there really hasn't been much of that at all this season.
I do hope they make Dean the next Bachelor though - he's a cutie! Also, Lee sucks!
