I have huge news to share with y’all!!!!

If you missed my Instagram post yesterday…

Rompin' Around Decatur

Can I just say that I'm SO GLAD the romper trend is back? It's been back for a while now, but does anyone remember the dark years between 2013-2015 that nobody wore them?! What were we thinking?! I have been loving rompers recently, and this embroidered piece from Target is no exception.

Total Solar Eclipse

I've always found myself totally fascinated by the natural workings of planet Earth. Waterfalls, mountains, constellations, sunsets and sunrises... you name it, I could spend endless amounts of time enjoying them. (Which is funny, because I am definitely not "outdoorsy" and love a good city skyline.)

Weekly Recap

Happy Friday! I had such an exciting week, lots of things started to fall into place for me! I finally feel confident about my job search, and with that comes more confidence about the future. I hope to be able to share some good news soon, and with that will come some job search advice and more about what I went through.

Today starts a long week of traveling for me! I'm headed to Raleigh this weekend, then stopping through Charlotte on Monday, then a flight to Dallas that night, and back to Atlanta Tuesday afternoon. Although I'm sure I'll be tired there at the end, it will hopefully all be worth it!

Jumpsuit? Jumper?

I love Old Navy. I can never go in and not purchase something (I have the same problem at Target if we're being totally honest with each other). Old Navy is great for basics, but they also have so many trendy clothes too.

When I was looking to branch out with a jumpsuit, I knew that Old Navy would be a great place to look for one that was stylish but would blend in while still standing out. That's a pretty weird set of requirements, but when one is breaking out of the t-shirt and shorts style with a jumpsuit, the last thing you want is someone staring at you. This one did not cause my social anxiety to go up in flames, so I deem it a winner!

Weekly Recap

This week really flew by for me. I want to take a quick second to thank everyone for their kind feedback on Wednesday's post! I'm so glad to hear that I'm not alone in how I was feeling and that even some bloggers that I admire the most have felt this same way too! It definitely made the latter half of the week much smoother.

I was feeling pretty frustrated when I published that post, because how can one apply for upwards of 70 jobs and literally not hear anything back? But it was almost funny - Wednesday morning I literally scheduled 4 interviews for today and next week. Kind of ironic how that all works out, yeah?

Real Talk

I originally had an outfit post planned for today, but I decided to switch around my calendar in favor of some real talk. In the spirit of being totally candid, I’ve been struggling recently. Struggling about my future, my friendships/relationships, what the heck I’m going to do with my life, how I’m going to make a difference in the world, how I can separate myself from other people who are exactly the same as me… I mean, the list goes on and on and on. I can just feel my anxiety flaring up at that list.

When I look at my life even a year ago, I thought everything would be so different. I’m smart. I’m (relatively… most of the time) easy to talk to. I make a great first impression (so I’ve been told). I’ve always had jobs and internships and volunteer experience, even if they were in the wrong fields. So where did it all go wrong?
