Weekly Recap

Hello and happy Friday!! I've been SO TERRIBLE at posting this month, but I'm really hoping to turn that around in the second half. I feel like I say that every month, but now that my internship is over and I'm only working two days a week, I should have more free time to spend here. Then again, job searching is a full-time job, AND I'm studying for the GRE... so who knows.

One of the things I want to work on this weekend is getting some generic pictures for blog content. The only problem is, I don't have a tripod and my sister is going out of town! Hopefully I'll be able to figure something out (or just go ahead and buy the tripod, which I probably will eventually).

Flytographer // Speaking of the lack of Instagram-husband... Flytographer looks SO COOL. I mean I think I'm fabulous enough to deserve a photographer to follow me around at all times, I'm just lacking the $250 that goes with it ;) On the real, I think this would be such a great idea for a group of friends in a city. Friends and family will get a decent shot of you and the Eiffel Tower, but if there are multiple people on the trip... who doesn't want a #model shot of them by a local Parisian?!

Amelia Earhart: maybe, maybe not // I come from a family that's seriously involved with aviation. My dad is a pilot, and his brother is also a pilot, and their sister was a flight attendant. So I find this Amelia Earhart advancement SO interesting. I have the documentary recorded but I haven't gotten the chance to watch it yet... only to wake up and realize that it might all be false!

Zucchini Chicken Enchiladas // I'm usually not a fan of zucchini taking the place of carbs. Get away from me with your zoodles, I need the REAL THING. That being said... these low-carb enchilada options look really really good. Casseroles and baked things are tough to do well in the summer, but I think this is a really nice option that would also make amazing leftovers.

I don't really have a lot going on this weekend so I was planning on starting one of the shows everyone says I need to watch that I haven't gotten around to yet... SO! Should I watch Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, or House of Cards?! Let me know!

  7. I think my fear of the Zucchini Chicken Enchiladas is that they might be watery. My husband refuses to try the recipe because he thinks it'll kill his love for enchiladas, haha
