Weekly Recap

What a week. It started off with an unintentional all-nighter Saturday night, which happened to be the night right before my first 13 hour shift at work! Talk about not ideal. I also really started to pack up my things from my house for my parents to take back to Atlanta when they come on Friday, which just makes me so nostalgic! Even though there are some really bad memories associated with my house, I really am going to miss living there.

Aside from all of that, it was 100 degrees every day this past week so I spent a lot of time inside and watching Netflix! I'm finishing up Friends again and have slowly started to incorporate more and more Grey's Anatomy back into my routine.

I cannot believe that in just a few short days it will be August! This summer was long at times but mostly has just flown by! Nothing like some cheap Mexican food and a large margarita to make me feel better about the passing of time!

Gilmore Girls // The trailer for the new Netflix installment of Gilmore Girls was released this week! Although I'm not the most intense GG fan (Rory annoys me, okay) I am excited for "A Year in the Life." Mostly I'm excited to see who Rory will end up with (if anyone we've already been introduced to, I'm hoping for Logan) and Lorelai and Luke's most-likely wedding. I can't wait to get my coffee and leftover pumpkin pie and settle in to watch this!

Chelsea Clinton over the Years // I love photo galleries like this (and really can't wait to see one of Sasha and Malia soon!). I truly cannot imagine growing up in the public eye like this. Being the president's daughter (or son) is probably an incredibly hard and overlooked role... I mean, even as a young child your every move is scrutinized by the press!

Nighttime Skin Care Routine // Something I've been really trying to get better at this year is a nighttime routine. I used to just wipe off my makeup with a Neutrogena makeup removing face wipe and get in bed and call it a day! Now I at least use a facial cleansing wash, eye makeup remover, and moisturizer. I bought toner today at Target and I'm excited to try it out too.
