June Goals

I love listing out my goals at the beginning of every month. Especially during summer, when I'm not really using my school agenda/planner as much as during the year, this helps me to keep track of time and make sure I'm not just wasting my summer days away!

Get into a daily routine // This one is hard because in sports our schedule can change every day! Nothing is really set in stone until after it has already happened! But I thrive on routine so this is something that I want to have most days this summer.

Pitch an idea for a feature story on a football player // One thing I want to do with my internship this summer is create a piece that goes at the top of my resume. A piece that I don't have to beg people to watch! ;)

Journal everyday // Journaling is so cathartic, and I wish I were better at actually sitting down and doing it! I'm hoping that if I do it enough (aka for a month) it will just become habit!

Meet my step goal each day of the month // Another of my "summer goals" is getting fit. I'm dieting and exercising, and part of that involves lots and lots of walking! Right now my goal is only at 10,000 steps per day, so hopefully during the middle of the month I'll be able to up it to anywhere from 15,000 to 20,000!
